Issue No.12 – Seaside Photograph

Time to own up! This song is a huge chunk of pure nostalgia on my part, in fact of all the Scarlet & Blue tracks this is by far the closest to my heart because it takes me back to those wonderful days at the seaside with long lost friends, when the only thing that mattered was the next fairground ride and of course making sure you had enough money left for a hot dog and some candy floss or maybe a big fat toffee apple!

At the end of the day it didn’t really matter how much you had to eat because it all came back up after those rollercoaster and waltzer rides! All I have to say is “take me back to the Spanish City” (the name of the amusement park at Whitley Bay) - apologies to Guns N’ Roses.

Freddie got it absolutely right when he said “those were the days of our lives” - I for one couldn’t agree more.
